Eastbound gym offers boxing, kickboxing and fitness. For all of these sports, good strength and conditioning level are of added value to your training.
Martial arts sets a wide range of physiological requirements for the athlete. You will need to take into account flexibility, speed, strength, endurance and explosiveness. The CSC lessons are aimed at increasing physical strength and improving fitness.
Strength training for martial arts can offer great advantages as long as the specific needs of the sport, the functioning of the muscles and the power used in martial arts are taken into account. At the same time, the wrong kind of strength training can actually worsen performance in martial arts.
The CSC lesson consists of a warming up, a technical part, metabolic conditioners, also a lot of attention is spent on mobility and stretching. Depending on the size of the group, we work in circuits, with stations or individually. We will also work with bodyweight, kettlebells, slam balls and dumbbells, but sometimes we will also use the Olympic bar.
Each training is composed by a certified trainer. One thing is sure: during these classes you are constantly stimulated to bring out the best in yourself, physically as well as mentally!
