Participating in a fitness class without any experience or prior knowledge can feel overwhelming, lead to unnecessary injuries and work demotivating.

To learn a new exercise properly, continue to breathe right and build strength and conditioning all within a one hour group class where there’s athletes of different levels training can be hard.

Luckily we’ve thought of something just fort his!

During our introduction course fitness you will learn the basic techniques of fitness in an easy pace, within a group of beginners and with a lot of personal attention and guidance. This ensures that you can continue to the regular group lessons and/or get started in our fitness area yourself during free training.

In these classes the following subjects will be handled:

Class 1: Core / stability / mobility
Class 2: Squat
Class 3: Deadlift
Class 4: Push/pull upperbody

De course will be taught by Wesley Verwoerd, a trainer at Eastbound Gym that has been with us since day one. He has the diploma’s AALO level 1 t/m 4, Junior coach weightlifting level 1&2 – The Dutch weightlifting federation, Senior coach weightlifting level 3 – The Dutch weightlifting federation.

He also teaches the groupclasses ‘Strength & Conditioning’, ‘Never Skip Legday’ en ‘Powerlifting at Eastbound’. 


We train on gym shoes that have only been worn inside and comfortable gymwear.

We offer 4 classes of 1 hour for 60 euro.

Introduction Course Fitness

    The introduction classes are not included in the regular group class membership. Unfortunately it is not possible to catch up with missed classes or to exchange your classes with a different course. It is also not possible to receive a (partial) refund of the costs if you, for whatever reason, are unable to attend a class. The intensity of the classes are much lower than that of the regular classes. So no need to worry, you will start sweating soon enough!
